Trying to find the episodes to watch
Both iTunes and Amazon say they don't have the rights. Does anybody know where I can watch the show? I'm really only interested in ep 18.

I guess I was wrong. In my defense, I did check a few places online and couldn't find any mention of a DVD box set. In particular Amazon doesn't have it, which seems strange considering that the HotDVDbuy site seems to use Amazon's curved arrow logo, even if there's no mention of them being connected to Amazon.

I would say that since neither nbc.com or amazon.com has the DVD, that the hotdvdbuy.com is probably an illegal site.

I was wondering that myself. The product looked good, but is it fake. Like you guys I checked and Amaazon didn't have one. I have to admit that surprises me. I expected a "real" out long ago.
But I never tracked it because I was t going to buy it. The show was okay but not THAT good, although it was getting better towards the end.

I liked the show and was disappointed that it was canceled. The thing is that even in today's world, many shows never get a DVD release.
Close to Home, Special Unit 2, All Souls, Sleepwalkers, The Others, Threat Matrix, Committed, Better With You, Freakylinks, Level 9, Young Americans, Summerland, Dead Last, Seven Days, and so on.

I liked the show and was disappointed that it was canceled. The thing is that even in today's world, many shows never get a DVD release.
I guess I haven't been paying attention. I tend not to buy TV series DVDs. My wife bought some of "Six Feet Under" and I own the first five seasons of "Entourage" but I think that's about it.
Oops, sorry. I forgot the jewel of my "collection," "FireFly".
But I honestly thought it was standard practice now for shows that got 10 or more episodes to come out on DVD. I suppose that was nearsighted of me.

What doesn't make sense to me is that a couple of the shows I listed are more than one season. Seven Days ran for three seasons/66 episodes, Special Unit 2 was two seasons/19 episodes and Close to Home was two seasons/44 episodes. Plus, both Seven Days and Special Unit 2 are SciFi/fantasy, which typically does pretty well on home video. Sleepwalkers was apparently released on VHS in Japan, but for rental only. Some of the episodes have been released on DVD in edited form, but the whole series has never been released.
Another show I'd love to see on DVD is So Weird from Disney. Well, the first two seasons at least. They really dumbed the show down for the last season, as well as getting rid of the star and hiring a different actress to play a new character.
