This show has got legs

They just started showing this series on Australian TV, four years after it aired in the US and 24 years after the original British series. This show has got long legs.

If this version is half as good as the original then it's going to be worth watching. It has a good IMDB rating, so I have high hopes.

I just wonder how Jane Tennison became Jane Timoney 😕

Having seen a few more episodes, this show bears no relation to the original British series. Each episode is pretty much independent of the others and their is no Prime Suspect to talk of. In fact in the last episode that I saw the killer was not even a suspect until he was identified in the final reel.

That said, it is a passable American cop show and I've seen a lot worse.
