I tried to give it a chance every season. I kept hoping it might be like Entourage. I was wrong. Its the opposite of Entourage.
The plot is crap. The jokes are crap. None of the characters are interesting to watch. Not even Matt Leblanc. Especially the ugly blonde who was pregnant this season and does nothing but groan. Carol is annoying and pathetic. I can't believe they brought back Castor Sotto. And Helen Basch is just disgusting. She's so insane she thinks Carol and Beverly had a lesbian affair even though its completely insane. And the worst part, NONE of the characters fight back against how wrong all of it is. NONE. Not even Carol, the same Carol who finally grew the balls to tell Lepidus to f_uck off. They all bend over for Helen to f_uck them over. Its painful and disgusting.

Sounds like the satire is over your head. You got the plot right, but fail to understand why it's funny. Try watching it again in a few years.

Also, it's funny because it's nothing like Entourage. If you liked Entourage, then I'm not surprised you don't like Episodes, because Episodes is basically making fun of you.

Why in the HELL would it be like Entourage? Oh, just because it revolves around Hollywood. Except Entourage is a constant brown nose with a little Hollywood has temptations thrown in for "realism." Is this realistic? No. It's a dark comedy. Entourage is far from a dark comedy. This is satire. Entourage was a constant advertisement for whomever was "in " that year. A LOT of people think Entourage Sucks and by the movie, well it's not exactly must see TV or Movie. Just thinking this may be like Entourage is mind-boggling. No wonder the Op was let down.

U took time to watch a show for 4 seasons before arriving at the decision that it is crap?? And then took out time again to come to the board and post about it!! Lol...no life?

The OP is right. This show is awful. The jokes are lame, the plot is cliched, and the characters are cartoonish. What anyone sees in this rubbish is beyond me.

maybe u just dont get it-its taking the p out of eveything hollywood-castor turned up for one minute at the end of the series hardly back is he

I think she or he thinks it's a Drama. The entire concept went so higher and faster above their head than a 747.
