A bit for basketball diehards, but a well made
film all the same. Discovered this thanks to
seeing KAJ on the Colbert Show.
Agreed. I enjoyed it a great deal, definitely worth watching. I'm not a basketball diehard, but I am a fan. So I guess that does help but I feel given a chance anyone could enjoy this. They didn't go too deep into the history or anything.
I found it intriguing for the perspective alone, once I knew what it was about. It was more than just a basketball documentary, which I wouldn't have minded. I guess it also helps that I like learning about the past, especially those about blacks as it's not often covered or shown.
Another documentary I found somewhat similar to this that I loved was Something To Cheer About, wish more people knew about it.
