Movie is a 7 not a 4.2

That's straight up. People on this board are movie snobs. It's hilarious sometimes.

I would give it about a 6 or 7, too. It did move slowly, although I really didn't get too antsy and it didn't bother me much. I thought it was well acted and didn't suspect what was actually going on for a while. I did suspect that she wasn't in a real hospital fairly early on, but the home movie showing served to misdirect me as I thought she was the woman in the film.

I feel like Amy should have realized something was up, though, since she has a medical degree. Her doctor and orderly were acting funny even at the beginning, and the doctor wouldn't give her any specific information about the disease or outbreak other than the name of her drug (even the sorts of information they'd tell a non-medically-trained patient).

The containment procedures also didn't make much sense, like how they had a plastic sheet around her bed yet let her leave it to use the restroom. A doctor would have found the whole situation extremely suspicious as soon as she woke up!

Still, I give it a 6.5

Even doctors and nurses can sometimes slip into a passive "patient" mode and just sort of go with the flow, but overall I agree - even sick and passive, Amy should have seen through the ruse much sooner. Besides the so-called isolation that was not really isolating, there was the giveaway that anyone who's ever been a patient, let alone a physician, would notice right away: Not enough people were in and out of her room. No blood draws? How could they be treating her if they're not checking her labs regularly? The same doctor and orderly night and day, day after day? Never seeing a single nurse ever? When you're in the hospital, even in isolation, a parade of different people are constantly coming in your room and bothering you. And if you have something the CDC is worried about, you'd be getting a LOT of attention. The fact that that wasn't happening here was a pretty obvious clue that there was something wrong.

Overall, though, it was pretty good. Slow in the middle, but creepy at the beginning, and the ending was a killer.

I gave it a 6, definitely not worth the current 4.1.
