Absolutely Brilliant

I haven't cried this much since...well, forever.

It was by fate that I watched this thoroughly moving story, which I also have no connection with outside of the human necessity to understand ones place in the world.

I rarely watch documentaries, but Somewhere Between has broken through with me to the point where I will search out more for the simple fact that I now crave the emotion the unabashed reality of life held within these types of films can create.

Thank you for making it, and I wish all the luck in the universe to the children whose stories were told.

I agree that this was a powerful and moving film. I have no connection to the topic (except that a family friend adopted a child from China) but was caught up in the drama and admired the four unique but exceptionally articulate young women who were featured. Although the movie purports to be about the specific journey of adoptees, it raises questions of purpose and identity that are relevant to us all.
