I'm 30 minutes in, and I'm forced to turn it off.

I don't do this often, but I turned it off. It was that bad. Not even my attraction to Kat Dennings could hold this miserable piece of garbage together. First off, it seems to be written by a dude who never experienced any of the movies "moments" in his life. The character interaction is awkward as hell, the people are total stereotypes, and the idiosyncrasies are done so poorly that I just couldn't believe this. That's my take, I can't believe people gave this as a recommendation. People who think this is anything like Juno, are the same *beep* who said Charlie Bartlett was this generations Ferris Bueller.

how can you not love this movie i do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! without the two cars crashing into each other and the white suit guy etc. and rolly dying i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!! everything josh lucas says is f'in hilarious i laugh so hard when he says every line of his and kat dennings two lines i like are "i'm going to pretend i didn't hear that" and "Your the one who won't let me in, i might die" or something along the lines of that

It's called a difference of opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I agree with the O.P. I watched the whole thing, but I had to force myself. I didn't care for it.

Don't give up on the film. 30 minutes in I thought I had it all figured out, but I was wrong! It turned out to be a very good movie, much better than I gave it credit for being.

Gamera is really neat... He is made of mystery meat!

30 minutes is not enough. Stay with it, you will be surprised and delighted. At 30 minutes in I was transfixed. A totally worthwhile movie. Funny, wise, mature and insightful.
