So, how exactly do they make money?

if you watched it through to the end, we see they are regular ppl w/ families. they both returned to their homes and families at the end. im assuming they work and carry on "normal" lives outside of this trip they took together

They're not grifters so they're not doing these little role players for money. I don't know if it rises go the level of "folie a deux" but it's their little secret thing. They each have a home and family, which we see them go back to at the end of their little trip.
