I cannot turn into a panther and I tapped r2 twice and still nothing I'm on ch 2 what am I doing wrong?

If you still need help if you are on your first playthrough you have to wait until you fight Jeanne again and then the cutscene comes when she turns into her cat for the first time and Bayonetta turns into hers. Then it will prompt you to do the panther and you will be able to do it from then on.
