Dont get how this game got amazing reviews..

Critics praised the game, but why? The game really does not shine from any of the other hack and slash games out there. A reviewer said it was better than God Of War and Ninja Gaiden LOOL yeah right. Here are the facts about this game: 1) the story is boring, dull, and absolutely makes no sense, 2) the gameplay is a bit fun but gets tedious after awhile 3) in-game "currency" is hard to accumalate and everything in the store is so overpriced 4) Boss battles are cool and all but the gameplay sections with moving or falling platforms obscures the action and become repetitve after awhile. I swear, the only reason why this game did so great was just cause the protaganist is a sexy witch. This game is a solid 7, not the 8s or 9s or even perfect scores it got by reviewers. Devil May Cry, God of War, and Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2 still are better hack and slash games than this game.

Well sure those are all better games than this...if you're sexist since every one of the games you've listed have a big burly manly man in the staring role.

I agree. I gave this a 6/10. Bad plot, repetitive gaming, cheesy dialogue. I honestly think it got the better reviews because of the sex appeal of the main character who I found to be annoying at times. It's certainly not a bad game but unoriginal and focuses more on flash than substance. And it isn't sexist to think the games with 'big manly men' are better. If anything is sexist it's the need to constantly flash the female lead's crotch, have her losing her 'clothes' constantly, and pretty much hanging every aspect of the game on her sex appeal. Lara Croft, Samus Aran, Jill Valentine, and Chun-Li are all super sexy but they don't rely on that to make them interesting.
