Does TVOne promote this show enough?! (sarcasm)

I understand they want to promote the show, but every time I turn on TVOne, they show a commercial for this. I watched an episode the first season, it was okay, but nothing spectacular.

We get it, Martin is producer, Tatyana stars. I don't need to ads every two minutes.

Oh stewardess...I speak jive.

Funny, I was reading this and happen to look over at the tv and see a commercial for it. But yea for any of their TVOne originals or movies they seem to overdose on ads. I remember watching Good Times or any other shows for the nostalgia, but then a ad may come up on the bottom-half of screen telling you to watch some Beyonce concert or "Love That Girl," which I understand you have to advertise, but like every 3-5 minutes when a show comes back from a commercial? When I am watching a show from the 70's (or whatever decade) it kind of bothers me lol.

I remember how TVOne use to just have a logo in the corner of the screen, now whatever show, concert, movie, they are promoting - and the time is always listed above the logo.

I agree. I really don't care for the show too much but they over-promote it On there own channel. I mean why not attempt to promote it on other channels where people who may not watch TVOne but liked Tatyana Ali.

Not only are they promoting it with commercials, it's on every time you turn around! The commercial says that the new episodes air on Mondays, but a lot of evenings they are running this show instead of Good Times.

ok they run that promo into the ground lol lol

Yeah it's annoying and the song gets stuck in my head for the rest of the day. Sometimes I'm afraid to tune into TV One and see the advertisement every 10 minutes.

If I had $100.00 for every time that show was promoted, I'd be rich.
