This show is bad on so many levels.

I have tried to watch this show so many times, but when I have to concentrate in order to pay attention then it's not worth my time. The producers and writers of this show are taking the easy route and being lazy. The characters are not endearing in any kind of way. The gay couple is way too over the top, but apparently flaming queens are the thing these days. I think it would have been so much more interesting to have some average gay men on the show.

The receptionist is so ignorant and blatantly ghetto that instead of being funny she is loud, sassy, and annoying; apparently that's how the writers perceive black women. What self-respecting company would have such an ignorant character answering the phones. Suspension of disbelief if heavily required.

There is no real comedy here.

I can only hope that the writers and producers are reading these message boards and make the effort to improve this show.

It definitely sucks!

I totally agree. The receptionist(Ununique?) at the real estate office is way too unbelievable. Most of the characters can't even act. I can't see this show lasting.

I agree. The characters need a lot of work. The receptionist is way to "ghetto" and is pretty embarrassing. I also hate the character of Ali's brother. It's like he's a dog on Viagra. He's obnoxious and is a plain old jerk. Absolutely no redeeming qualities. This brother character is the creator's take on black men it seems to me.

I really wanted to like this show to support Tatyana Ali's and Martin Lawrence's new endeavor, but I agree that she is good supporting actor material, not main character material. The main comeedic character does more than just repeat lines in a convincing way, but they also deliver it in a funny way. They pick up exaggerated facial expressions, body language, and expressions without leaving the characteristics of the character, and they master comedic timing. Look at Vicky Lawrence, Martin Lawrence, Jamie Foxx, Jerry Seinfeld, Lucille Ball, and Jackie Gleason and you'll see that they all have these things in common.

she can be a good main character... but like any actor she needs something to work with... this show is just bad... it's not her fault.. and for the record.. there are many different types of comedy... mugging is just one facet of comedy... the writing on this show is just pathetic...
