Great, spooky, funny but one bad problem.

Spoilers so please, caution.

The movie is good, the pacing is fantastic, the scenes and camera work is top notch, acting too, I recommend going into this movie 100% blank to enjoy it better. My main problem with it.

If you have ever seen the Spanish movie REC, then you will see how the creepy naked old zombie looking mother in barbarian is almost a carbon copy of the medeiros girl from rec, I just wish they had designed her a little bit differently as I just didn’t find her scary at all as I could think about when watching her was the medeiros girl.

Other than that, great movie.

I thought of the Rec girl too when the mother appears in Barbarian. But I didn't really have a problem with the mother looking similar because Barbarian was such a different movie in every other way. Great movie.
