Was season 2 already being filmed?
from the from some of the stuff that I have been reading it seems like season 2 had actually already been in the process of being filmed for a while now
does anybody know if this is true
From the sounds of things, it was filming, but not too far in. There was only recently a casting call for the second episode of the second season I think. So, they were probably in the process of film episode one or two, I'm guessing.

shareThat's odd. TV shows are not typically filmed "episode by episode." It's much more efficient / cheaper to film as many scenes as possible, that happen on one set, at one time.
Why would you rip all the lights & rigging down, plus all the trailers, entourage, etc, only to set it up again later for a scene that happens in the same place but in a later episode?
it depends on the show, but they often have the same sets for a lot of the scenes, and they do generally shoot "episode by episode." that's why you often see a different director for every episode.
shareMovies in general shoot out of sequence in the same location for budget and transportation reasons. TV does not.
