Deserves a better rating

Negative media coverage can significantly affect a movies review as much as positive spin by the same increase its audiences public perception. I'm proud of the producers, director, and actors sticking with the script as filmed, and people who have a hard time with the use of the word "gay" need to grow a thicker skin.

Had the word "wuss" been used in its place I highly doubt that such an uproar would've occurred. I suggest watching Trey Parker and Matt Stone's "The F Word" to understand that words are not only irreflective of modern connotation but also flexibly perceived.

It's my RIGHT to offend you!!!

I completely agree that this movie deserves a better rating. I saw this with my family and we all quite enjoyed it. It was a well-paced, funny, grown-up comedy that portrayed a (relatively) realistic situation. I mean, what would you do if you were in Vince Vaughn's situation? We also liked how it wasn't over-the-top like most comedies; most of the humor was pretty subtle. It was fun watching the dilemma unfold.

I personally rated it a 10.

I agree. I'd give it an 8. Much better movie than what a rating of 5.3 says.

It deserves an 8!

Actually, it deserves a worse rating - like maybe a two - and I'm being generous.
