I've only just discovered Mirror's Edge

And I love it.

But why did they have to cram shooting into the game? Were they scared not to include some stupid random shooting bits?

If they had made bigger open world levels and left out the shooting I would have been in pure joy. Everything is wonderful in this game except the shooting.
