What a bloody travesty! How could Tommy possibly lose? I'd have had no problem with Robbie winning, he is a great dancer but cheeky Charlie?!

Nigel Lechbag got his wish then: a young, naive, pretty FEMALE dancer for him to "chaperone" in Hollywood.

My heart broke twice this week. Once when poor Robbie dislocated his shoulder and last night when Tommy lost to cutesy Charlie of all people.

That talentless daft vapid twit wouldn't even be in the final without Tommy's help. She has absolutely no musicality and no rhythm at all! How could she win? By being young, pretty, cute, dim-witted and British?

I am assuming that when push came to shove, my dear fellow country(wo)men rooted for a Brit over a Swede, however talentless that nitwit Brit might be.

My heart goes out to Tommy who deserved to win and to Robbie who deserved to shine in the final

TOMMY you will always be my favourite! Your musicality, rhythm, perfection and originality are an inspiration to everybody who has had the privilege to watch you dance!

Can't wait to see you in BLAZE:

Well put!

I cried last night because I was so upset that Tommy didn't win.

Dancing (Salsa) is just a hobby for me but for a consummate professional like Tommy it must be devastating to lose in a nationally broadcast competition. Especially as Tommy clearly was the most talented dancer there.

Unlike cheeky & cute Charlie who couldn't keep in time with music if her life depended on it, Tommy has perfect timing and such a great feeling for rhythm and the flow of music. Plus his style is truly unique!

Throughout the competition Tommy was the most consistent dancer and his solos were always the best by far. What a talent!

Sadly the majority of voters don't cast their votes based on talent but other reasons. That's how the "cheeky baby of the competition" with the right citizenship won.

Tommy, I am so terribly sorry that you lost to a lesser dancer. You always had my vote and I am looking forward to seeing you shine in Blaze - the Streetdance Sensation

Robbie, get well soon you poor sod. That was the most rotten luck.

De gustibus non est disputandum.

And I agree with you as well!

Tommy delivered the best solos and was the most consistent dancer throughout the entire series. Arlene got one thing right: Tommy lives, breathes, feels music.

I'd put it like this: Tommy translates music into motion!

He has a real flair for choreography as well, not many dancers do.

Tommy should have won, no question in my mind at all.

I agree that Mark is an excellent dancer too, so were Drew, Mandy, Robbie, Lizzie and Yanet (in her own style). However, Tommy is definitely in a class of his own. Utterly unique!

Why didn't Tommy win? That's fairly obvious, isn't it?

The producers expected Robbie to win, he had a huge support group. When Robbie suddenly hurt his shoulder (he has my fullest sympathy!), the producers started panicking. They couldn't possibly have a non-Brit win the title of Britain's favourite dancer. Just think what that would do to national pride and to the ratings of any future series.

Imagine, a Swedish dancer representing Britain in Hollywood as SYTYCD's UK winner. Can't have that, now can we...

So the producers stacked the cards against Tommy as much as they possibly could in the final. Charlie, the dancer who couldn't keep time, had not even an iota of rhythm in her body & soul, suddenly "flourished".

Poor Tommy, the producers really did a number on him and royally shafted him.

Being anti-European is fine as long as we are talking about the fat cats in Brussels but taking it out on an individual dancer really sucks. I don't think that any of the producers & judges on SYTYCD are actually anti-European but obviously the makers of the show thought that the general British public is and acted accordingly.

Charlie won the money & the title but any choreographer watching the show realized who the real talent was.

All of Tommy's solos were brilliant but that last one was out of this world!

Tommy will be fantastic in BLAZE and will go all the way. Talent like that will be recognized by the people who truly matter in the dance business. I really hope he will do a lot of choreography as well in the future.

GOOD LUCK TOMMY, YOU WERE THE REAL STAR!
