I just wanted to add that I usually don't care who dies in films like these, but I wanted the lead actress to at least escape. The cops basically killed her when they prevented her from killing the killer. At least she went out quickly.
The ending was just plain ridiculous! The killer being resurrected or whatever and seemingly invincible was bad enough but the ending with her stopped on the road to cry and being killed was laughable...
It was beyond dumb - total retard whoever wrote it. Not only is he invincible - he knows how to drive a car after being dead (or whatever his state was) and buried for at least 40 years... Cheezuz!
There's nothing refreshing about this ending. It seems like you can't have the 'happy' ending anymore because people think it's cliche. I personally find the "we have to kill everyone and have the killer still be alive" the new cliche. Nearly every movie today seems to rely on the shock ending.
Unfortunately this movie tried too hard. The electrician's dialogue was odd. You'd figure that he might be the one to first warn them. Even if just to say "Dude, uhmm - you're in the cemetery of very bad place."
Instead he's making remarks to make boyfriend think he amongst the Deliverance crowd!
