12 Days, $56,000

I was reading an article & the script for this movie was written in 10 days, the movie was shot in 12 days, & the budget was $56,000.
I don't care what anyone thinks or says about what I'm about to say:: I LOVE this movie. It's not a "classic" by any means, but it's definitely my FAVORITE Hallmark/Lifetime Christmas movie. I honestly wish that I could find my own Mapleton, with people like that.... Even Les. I think that's his name- I call him the Head Vampire (from the Lost Boys).
There's really nothing special about this movie. (I'm actually not too crazy about the part when she's walking around. But that's the only part I didn't really like, I think it's the song.)
It's just about a woman who's trying as hard as she can to make the best of a bad situation for her kids. A few angels & a cute cop help her on her way. I look for this every Christmas. Actually, it's Hallmark Gold Crown Christmas in July something or another & it just ended. It's a feel good movie that has something for everyone.

I love it too. I actually had the pleasure of speaking to Kristy when this movie came out. She is such a kind person.

There is no way this movie was made for $56,000. I call BS.

That amount does seem really low. I mean I'm sure the actors didn?t get paid loads of money, but there were quite few of them and salaries add up.
