a lone assassin walks into a police station, exterminating the whole police force faster than i could type supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, but had a hard time hitting the couple he was coming after?

Well, it wasn't exactly a good movie and certainly had many flaws. However if you pay attention, he wasn't trying to kill them. He intentionally shot her in the leg, was aiming at the ceiling etc. He just wanted Allen to kill him.

The couple were the only ones who didn't expose their full torsos when standing up to try to shoot him. It was staged like a video game, like "Doom." I was cracking up every time they went up and down like spring-loaded pop-up cardboard cutouts.
