Lousy representation of Seattle...cool film.

Why even use our city's name? A couple of aerial shots in the beginning and that's it. Of course I see they shot it in Spokane which has a population of 1/2 a million in their metro area. Seattle has 6.5 million, huge difference. Buses don't look the same, the police officers uniforms and squad cars are totally different. WOW!

Being a life long resident in the Seattle area I was expecting to see a lot of familiar landscapes. Other than the opening shot of the waterfront at night I didn't recognize any. Be it a complaint or whatever it is you want to call it, I was disappointed. Why didn't they just say the location of events were Spokane? Are the creators a bunch of compulsive liars and can't help themselves? Please don't try to convince me it was a better movie because they said it was Seattle. They could have said was Narnia and it wouldn't have made a bit of difference.

Per Wikipedia: "Seattle is the county seat of King County and is the major economic, cultural and educational center in the region. The 2010 census found that Seattle is home to 608,660 residents within a metropolitan area of some 3.4 million inhabitants."

In fact per Wikipedia, the WHOLE state of Washington has about 6.7 million people, and I know the entire state is not metro-Seattle.

Anyhow, with that aside, this movie is so poorly directed that any offense it made in city representation is the least of its worries.

I thought the same thing until late in the movie when they referred to Spokane. I think only the opening scene in the hotel was supposed to be set in Seattle, then it moves to Spokane.

Personally, I'm impressed when it's at least filmed in Washington and not Canada.

The opening scene was in Seattle then the movie moved to Spokane. In Seattle does not have 6.5 million people. If it did it would be the second largest city in the United States of America
