The only guess I can come up with is that it was the guy that Jonas was supposed to kill but didn't. No matter what it was pretty annoying of them to throw that in with it being so obscure and left to guessing.

I thought it was the detective and they were talking about Allen Campbell not being responsible in anyway. My guess is that the detective thought Mr. Campbell was responsible and that is why he turned off the tv.
sharedo you remember the scene where cuba and the one older guy go to draw their guns on eachother in the police station at the end, but cuba wins, well that guy is the agent who was getting those phone calls from his boss, telling him he better get it under control and what not, well the guy at the end is the boss on the phone, i thought this was completely pointless but it was a pretty decent movie though.
