I am glad i donot go by what critics or other people reviews before i watch a movie. I heard nothing but bad things about this movie and have no clue why. I enjoyed every single second of it, cuban did an amazing job, had me on the edge.Some ofr the actors like the one detective was the only one i thought wasn't that good of an actor, other than that the movie was total fun me and my friends watched it together and all of us enjoyed it very much so! If you like action movies and thriller movies this is no0t one to miss.

I enjoyed it the way he was so militant and brash when killing no remorse,
Excellent job both Cuba & Cole

It was very watchable indeed....the rating is WAY off.

I gave it an 8 to over compensate. Really..it's about a solid 6.5 and Cuba was very good in it as was Cole. I think people see Cuba's name and instantly give the movie a 1....really...for no reason.

i agree, i thought it was very good too. yes it's a B movie but hauser and gooding jr have both proven in the past they can act well if they really try and i found this very entertaining all the way through.

After Cuba's last couple direct-to-DVD it was a pleasant surprise. Not great, but I'm happy to see Cuba just...not doing crap. I gave it a 6/10.

I don't understand the low rating either. I gave it an 8. I thought it was a very solid thriller, and it was a surprisingly great performance by Cuba Gooding Jr.

Oh come on.... It wasn't that good. It wasn't even recommendable. Source Code, The Adjustment Bureau, Limitless are some good movies. This movie is definitively bottom shelf. I'm not saying I want my 90 minutes back but when she smiles this is not a pretty girl due to her messed up teeth and I have no interest in a second date... if you get my drift.

The problem is, if this movie was released in the 80s it would have been a smash hit. these days, where everything is based on CGI, this movie is out of place. in my opinion, its a solid 7

I agree you completely. It wasn't a bad film a all. I gave it a 7 also.

I gave it five stars. Very mediocre. In fact, one could actually play out the whole movie in their head in under five minutes and save time for a good movie. This film wrote itself once the premise was put into play with only one acceptable resolution- and the journey to that resolution wasn't all that interesting.

Cuba Gooding saved it from being a complete loss.

My "#3" key is broken so I'm putting one here so i can cut & paste with it.

i too thought this movie was better then its rating, acting is good and direction not bad either, pretty good pace

but one thing, the ending is appalling

surely, with everything they have on this allen guy, whether 1 detective believes his story or not....he would be remanded in custody and put before a jury so they could decide his fate......but no, they allow him his freedom and he jumps in the ambulance with his wife

I think that the initial premise was good but then the plot went a pretty ridiculous direction, starting with a professional hit man killing somebody in the middle of busy street in broad daylight.

I think there was a different direction that the plot could have gone that would have made this a very suspenseful thriller.

I don't think he cared. He wanted to die. So what if he was seen. I really liked the movie, and I will watch it again.
