Any chance that this could lead to another season or movie?

I thought the ending with two Kyons was a bit strange, with the implication that Kyon would later have to save himself in that same time 3 years ago.

Does this mean that Kyoto Animation could possibly adapt more of the light novels for a third season, or possibly a second movie? I heard that an explanation for the two Kyons was given in the light novels.

Would you guys like to see that happen?

I hope they do. I just finished watching all the episodes and the movie and I;m craving more :P I'm going to buy the novels now.

Will it happen? *shrug* But yeah, the events of this are followed up on in the light novels. Most specifically in The Intrigues of Haruhi Suzumiya, which I'd guess is the best bet for another movie specifically since it's another pretty important entire-book story rather than a collection of multiple small stories which would work better as episodes.
