I'm not going to say I noticed it too because it's hard to miss. It happens twice then they must have realised and rolled his body a bit so you couldn't see his stomach.
After seeing it I thought he was just playing dead to fool the bad guy then after his fingers got munched I thought ok, they are determined to fool the bad guy and this is part of their plan.
Turns out I was mistaken and it was just some guy that can't hold his breath for 30 seconds when the camera is rolling
