Besides, actors in ropes jumping before green screens and cgi actors doing impossible stuff is getting old outside superhero movies.

I agree. Young adult audiences are already well catered by superhero movies. No need to make these movies anymore. They don't sell anyway.

I would rather have more mature oriented movies. Serious sci-fi movies instead of spectacle driven scientifically-challenged fantasy movies like Mortal Engines. And leave the young adults to the superheroes. They are good enough.
