This film was fun to watch but if genders were switched, it would have caused a lot of protests.
shareI agree. I enjoyed the movie a lot, but that's my one gripe about it. She's the one who screwed up. Yeah, it opened his eyes to his own issues and downfalls, but that didn't give her any right to destroy their marriage and sleep with another man. She should have been the one to "learn her lesson" in the movie.
shareI guess she did learn her lesson in a sense when Cal said he had slept with 9 women. She was definitely pissed-off. To bad though since she cheated and wanted a divorce. She wanted her cake and to eat it too. Why shouldn't he move on like he said. If she felt so mad about what he had done then she must have felt regret over cheating so rather than chewing him out she should have understood and begged for forgiveness right there. So you're right, she should have been the one giving the speech.
