She never apologized, not once
Never said she was sorry for ruining their marriage, not in the whole movie, not in the many months this movie covers.
Bitch.
I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

Your right. Not once. She never owned up to her part. It was all him, he became the bad guy.
I think the writers goofed.
That's what really rang true about this movie, to me. I can't count the number of times my husband or I have done something to anger the other. We might shout it out, or go to the silent treatment for a few hours (days... weeks...), but at the end we almost always just shake it off and move forward.
If he actually ever apologized for something he did that pi$$ed me off, I think I'd drop into a dead faint. And if I said the words, "I'm sorry", he'd probably throw a press conference to announce it globally.
In the end, apologies are just words; what really matters are the actions that come next. Forgiving, forgetting, moving forward, and doing better the next day are far more important than verbalizing a rote apology.
Yeah I watched this movie again today on TV and my god Emily has zero redeeming qualities in this film that Cal really shouldn't want her back at all. The one part that always gets me is when she's reaming him for sleeping with the teacher meanwhile I'm just yelling at the TV for Cal to come back with: "Well at least I had the decency to wait until after we were split up." It just bothers me because if that were me I'd flip out because she has zero ground to stand on for getting upset with him.
I WANTED THAT SO BADLY! She comes off as so unlikable and I REALLY wanted somebody, Cal specifically to just really shove it in her face.
