This movie was filmed (not all of it but some parts) in the town of Massena, NY - it's only about 20 miles from where I go to college! I'm excited to see it to see some familiar sites, but it does seem a little dull. What does everyone else think?
The world's got me dizzy again. You think after 22 years I'd be used to the spin.
It, like its landscape, is incredibly dull.

I thought Dano did a wonderful job in his portrayal of Joby.
It's a quiet film about one man's awakening regret and feelings of loss over something that he himself is struggling to understand -- and is doing so functionally alone and in a rather harsh environment in more ways than one.
But it is a moody walkie-talkie type of piece with no certain, canned resolution, so if you're not into that type of film, you probably won't like it.
