Very painful to watch. Matthew Goode does his best

I thought I'd cry the whole way through this film, but I didn't. Although it has a deeply sad plot, I couldn't not get disturbed by the messed up chronology of the scenes and Tom's sex addiction and cosplay preference (the wig). So your wife dies and you cope with this by neglecting your only son and indulging in casual sex with anybody? Trying to make prostitutes look like your dead wife is just sick and pathetic. Matthew Goode does his best in portraying the *beep* up husband and he could not have given a better performance! He's caring and violent at the same time, happy and sad at the same time - a great actor in a could've-been-better role.
