...But is was on SBS tonight. Aussie tv channel folks. 100% not a movie I would fork out $20 for, but I got sucked into it. Quite personal & intimate movie. Missed some of it so had no idea Rachel Griffiths was in it at all until I logged onto IDMB. Her & Garry McDonald may explain where the IMDB stated $9mill budget went. I mean, come on, even filming in horrible Sydney, $9mil? $900,000 more like it.

Glad I watched it. The kid was terrific. Got to see some perky Aussie boobs and even some feet. Bit arty farty & God knows how much it ever made as I have no recollection of it ever being in the cinemas, but hey, it passed the time.

Just for info - this was based on the director's personal experience of bereavement - so not surprised you found it personal intimate.
