No GPS???

This board is pretty dead, but I just started watching the series.

I'm pretty surprised the CBP doesn't use integrated GPS to detail where they are, where possible smugglers/illegals are, etc. In this day and age, it's negligence to have a radio system that doesn't always work.

I haven't seen any 'politicalization' in the series, but do know that the last two presidential administrations have left the CBP undermanned and under-financed. Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised if all they had were horses and megaphones.
