Watching this show I see a rickety tin foil fence and a bunch of drug runner playing cat and mouse with understaffed, underarmed border guards. The fence doesn't go all the way it just ends. Gee no one would ever think of walking around the end of it would they?

Why not just build a double layer 20' high fence with razor wire the whole length of the border, put guard posts every few miles, shoot anything that tries to get across. Illegal immigration solved in 24hrs.

Right, great idea because illegal immigrants only come from the Mexican border.

If nothing else, this shows illustrates the immense problem with have illegal immigration and drug runners running amok.

They seem to talk about building a fence every now and then. But then you have to think about the finance it would take to build said fence and paying for those people that would be guarding the post. I'm sure the money would dry up real fast.

That answer makes no sense. The US people who live right next to the Rio Grande are most likely all ranchers and Cows need water . . . They need river access.
