Awful movie...just...awful .

This movie had absolutely no character development, which means it gives the viewer nothing to care about. Why were the killers killing? This was never explained. The film spent far too much time with establishing shots and too little time giving the viewer a reason to care.
I was thinking part way in that this one would go the April Fools Day rout and wrap up at the end as a joke or a test where some of the characters were in on it, but some weren't. Instead, it went nowhere.
