Worst fake snow I have seen

...and it was my 13 year old who sneered at it out loud.
You wouldn't call it a snow fall, most of it seemed to go up.
Yet another distraction (like the French girl's over-the-top accent) that took you out of the story and reminded you you were watching a sloppily made film.
That might seem a bit harsh, as so much expense and effort was put into making this film, an impressive result on many levels, but like so many movies these days all the effort is let down by some detail that distracts enough to commit the cardinal sin of taking you out of the story, like the dinosaur stampede in King Kong, or the close-up of the 'flame-grilled-by-jet-pack' burgers in Minority Report.
Top directors should hire a sceptic to do nothing but occasionally tap them on the shoulder and say 'Sorry that's crap.'
