In the books, didn't Mikael hook up with pretty much anyone with a functional vagina? First book he has his work partner, his research partner, a Vanger woman that lived on the island, a Vanger woman in the UK. Am I missing anyone, as far as book #1 goes?

I've read all three books and watched GWTDT last night for the first time on TV.
My husband hasn't read any of the books, and I told him the Mikael was a bit of a whore and slept with three or four different people in the first book but some of it was completely cut out.

There you go. The movie works better with Cecilia antagonistic to Mikael.
shareThis is another reason I prefer the Fincher' version to the Swedish version. The story should be about Lisbeth and Mikael's Casanova proclivities add nothing to the story. The swedish film didn't cut this very unnecessary part.
