This is one of the best horror comedies ever made. Just finished it and thought it was simply amazing. Smart, funny, heart-warming, original, AND some guy kills people.

shareI liked it too, gave it an 8. But it's not hard to see why it wouldn't appeal to a lot of the people. It's a bit of a loner movie. And I didn't like the twist too much.
Probably the IMDB ratings are mostly influenced by the marketing and the people who pick up and watch the movie. If you market the wrong crowd, the people who watch it will be disappointed and give it a bad rating.
