VERY similar plot to Luc Besson's 'Subway' (SPOILERS for SUBWAY)

Plot of Luc Besson's "Subway".

-->Plot description for SUBWAY may be consired to have SPOILERS!

A Thief retreats to the bizzare underground world of the Subway system peopled by all sorts of social freaks within it's strange labyrinth. The thief is pursued by both the woman whom he robbed (and who has now fallen for him) as well as her husband's henchmen.

Sounds a lot like "Loosies" took its main ideas from "Subway"

"Subway" stared Chritopher "Higlander" Lambert, here listed as Christophe with no "r", (with an out of control Billy Idol hair-do), as well as the sexy-as-hell Isabella Adjani, and other's who became Besson staples (Jean "The Professional" Reno.)

Alhough Subway had a fun irreverent atmosphere; even the shock ending was campy, "Loosies" like it's a drama.

And whats with the "written by anonymous"?

P.S. if you watch "Subway", turn off the terrible English dubed audio and turn on the French audio with English subtitles.

"North of Athabasca, East of Peace River, North of Dwyer."

I do love "Subway" very much, it has something very human about it.

I just watched the trailer after I saw your post here about it and it almost seems like a lifted story in a way and yet at the same time feels somewhat empty in a way, I dont know maybe I am wrong.

But yea, the plot lines are somewhat similair.

I actually thought for a moment that it had something to do with Pickpocket, another French movie, from the fifties.

Our first intuitions are the true ones.
