Vincent GALLO

I mostly want to see this for bad boy Gallo. How big is his part and what "kind" of movie is this? Is this comparable to anything he's done before?

A 6.0 rating does not yet convince me enough to give this a shot.

He has a decent part as the fence in the moive. It's not huge but he has a lot more than just one scene.

This is an awesome film and was way better than I thought it was going to be.

a friend of mine even has 2 songs on the soundtrack. One was called " Sugar Blues" and it was playing over scenes at the start of the film. Great song and excellent movie. It's a shame it got lost and only made $3000 dollars at the Box Office. But I think the plan from the beginning was to just release it on DVD and on the pay-cable channels and when they saw it was a pretty good movie and with Peter Facinelli's popularity they decided to release it.

It's a different type of "Love Story" or romance and to me was very original.

Do yourself a favor and watch it when you get a chance and check out my friends band, "The Young Royals" his name is Eric Bradley and he had several songs on the ST.

Did you see it in the end?

I actually discovered Vincent Gallo after watching this movie. All in all it's an enjoyable film and I think his part spices it up. He's quite exaggerated (the karate part was comical) but believable as a manipulative and very menacing kind of guy. It's interesting how the main character (that of Facinelli) keeps coming to him and even trusting him, when from the outside it's clear that he is being manipulated and kept in a state of bondage. Interestingly enough, the secondary actors seemed to me somewhat better than the main ones, who are rather too "perfect", at least they look perfect, both the boy and the girl, no faults. True that he is a thief, which is in no way romantic, but he looks very damp for someone pickpocketing in subways. That's why a guy like Gallo is needed.

I am looking forward to see his other movie, Essential Killer.

Our first intuitions are the true ones.

If you're a Gallo fan, you'll love this. He does play a very nasty character, not really a good guy but very characteristic & fun to watch. If you've seen "Buffalo 66" you'll love the line he repeats in this movie: "All girls are evil!"
