Thoroughly enjoyed, but a few things bugged me

I have watched this movie several times over the course of the past 6 months. Although it's a fairly low budget movie, it does have its good moments. There have been a lot of negative talks about the camera movements and editing. Yes, I noticed it. It bugged me a bit. But, I thought it was a bit intriguing and I think, due to the low budget, they added this as an effect.

Here is what bugged me;

1. The protagonist engaged in quite a few fights, and won each one. However, throughout the entire movie, although they showed him bloody 'in' each fight, he never had any cuts or bruises 'after' the fights. No scars. No time for healing. I would classify this as a continuity error.

2. Once he moved to his dad's house and took the job at the construction yard, a lot of action took place. He met a lot of people. Had a lot of fights. I have a difficult time with the fact that it all took place within one week (the villian of the movie gave him one week to give him the $60,000). It takes longer than that to build relationships and to have that many fights.

3. During the night scene when the main charactor is at the underground fights with his new friend, he goes to get a beer and bumps into the girl. She kind of trips or falls into him. This seems out of her charactor. I would have liked to have known what made her trip or fall.

The one thing I hated the most about this film,was the final fight,was so damn weak and unwatchable.I mean in all of these types of films,is you always get that pumped up,big finale,monster fight at the end of the movie.You don't really get that here because what it was looking like the main fight would be between Brandon and Victor.But instead we see that fight in the middle of the film.Now I know people ripped on another movie similiar to this called The Philly Kid,but at least that movie had a really good finale fight at the end of the film.Same went for other films like this such as Warrior and Never Back Down.Whatever you may think of these films,good or bad,at least they gave you a payoff at the end of the film.They just pretty much had a lame final fight that he threw and they went to the gangster payoff.Nothing wrong with the gangster thing at the end,as that was necessary in this film,but they should have had some kind of exciting finale fight in this film.

The constant camera zoom in every scene was enough to cause me to stop watching the movie after 20 minutes.
