...was indeed the dude who beat one of them up at the bar? And that was indeed just a complete coincidence? Or did I miss/misunderstand something?
shareIt seems he was. In the book it was a lot more vague and it's sort of left up to the reader to decide if it's all real or not. In the book the gay guy kept thinking it "might" be the guy who beat him up, but he's not sure. So I think that's why they didn't really show his face in that scene, they were trying to create that "maybe" about it
