I enjoyed Apocalypto which was directed by Gibson but I don't appreciate seeing his face on the screen. A pure egoist.

Gibson was perfect in this role. As much as I love Neeson (both he and Gibson are among my top 5 favorite actors), I'm not sure he can pull off the dark humor that comes naturally to Gibson.

Liam Neeson is too big for a role like this. Remember, Liam Neeson is a big guy while Mel Gibson is a bit below average. You see Mel getting hit around by a few Mexican prison gangsters while in some of Liam's more recent movies he is easily throwing people and giant wolves (hehe) around.

Both are awesome.

I was glad to see Mel Gibson back in an action role. Theres a lot of people in Hollywood who have insane sides to them that dont get aired to the public. If the NFL can forgive Mike Vick for all the crap he did I think we can move on now.
