What was the Embassy guy doing when Driver killed him? I see he is getting his back waxed, which looked quite painful; and he is forcing the girl to eat hot peppers. Did I miss something or was he just a sadistic bastard?

He reminded me of Orson Welles' character in "Touch of Evil"

He didn't kill the Embassy guy, he left him tied up and told the hookers to have fun with him.

Driver even says to him that he wasn't hard to find when he has hobbies like this.

So yeah, he was just being a bit nutty.

Driver definitely doesn't kill him. He's left in bondage ,with the hookers obviously paid to give him a hot old time with the tabasco sauce.🐭
