Theo's 'parents' question

We never saw them again after Theo broke his hand..what happened to them? Did they ever say? Was that just a plot hole? Or were we supposed to forget about them. I would like to know who they actually were and how Theo got them to pose as his parents..also Theo is still supposed to be the same age as Scott and stiles so where are Theo's actual parents?

I dislike this hammer scene. From that point on it was clear for the viewers that Theo was evil, I would have preferred to keep up the tension longer.
So I think this whole scene was quite pointless - and obviously the writers thought the same so they didn't pick up this plotline anymore.
Maybe we learn more about Theo's past and his real parents in S6.
