so in 5x05 how could lydia cross it when scott and kira couldn't? she's a supernatural creature and made from a bite. just bad writing?
shareMaybe it affects certain kinds of supernatural creatures but not others. Lydia isn't a werewolf like Scott and Kira, she's a banshee. Maybe banshees are more human than they are supernatural.
sharetommo123 - Partly what the other person said about a banshee being different, but also I think, yes, bad writing. There are so many ridiculous inconsistencies in the writing. Sometimes a werewolf can survive a metal pole stuck through their torso for an extended period of time and sometimes like with Aiden(sp?)a simple stab in the stomach with a knife is deadly! There are so many inconsistencies - I can't get started or I'll never stop...
shareyeah, it's why i haven't posted about scotts powers and his increasing uselessness in fights. it would be nothing more than a long rant :o
i liked the show (just rewatched the entire run after the finale) but glad it's over now before it got really bad.
