Good Guys lives on...but not really.

Colin is guesting on this season of Dexter, but the cool bit is that the file photo the police have of Hanks is actually a promo photo of him from The Good Guys. Made me chuckle.

Thanks for pointing that out! :D

The folks at Dexter have a camera or two and could have taken their own shots, so a nod to The Good Guys definitely conveys their affection for the show.

TGG was a USA "Characters Welcome" show, not broadcast content. I know USA Network uses Fox Production resources and that creates certain opportunities for their producers, but I really hope Nix never "burns" another great concept by writing/producing it for Fox, which is only interested in renewing The Simpsons, American Idol, and new dramas (ahem, Glee) that can be trashed on Fox News as harbingers of the gaypocalypse. Talk about in-house news production. :)

And an update...the same photo was used yet again recently. On a birthday cake for Colin in Happy Endings.

Don't bother starting a topic titled, "Was I The Only One...?" Because you're not.

to be fair while "Born Notice" was aired on USA (a Universal company I believe) it was actually produced by FOX. Sadly as much as I loved the show. It felt more like a show that should have been on USA or maybe even fX. It wasn't quite the cookie cutter kind of show which hurt it on a major network.
