OOPS eating unprocessed red meat is 100% fine!

So unprocessed red meat is really good for you Especially steak, its high in Iron and Zinc which is good at staving off colds.

Haven't you noticed how people who eat steaks never get sick, yet all your veggie friends are constantly catching colds and flus?

I agree. I've cut 80% of my breakfast meat and dairy out but I still like unprocessed meat when I can get it. I drink fruit/veggie 100% natural smoothiesfor breakfast and i feel healthier.

no actually i never noticed that.

i was a vegan for 10 years and never once had a cold. not even a sniffle. ever.

i never tire of watching people pull a completely unscientific opinion out of their anus and then throw it in their "fact" file.

Ive also been vegan for 9 years and have not caught the flew once. When eating meats and dairy i would have diarrhea and severe flus at least twice year. For the life of me i cant recall the last time i was legitimacy sick. i also had not been to the dentist in over 10 years and went recently to find my teeth were perfect not a single cavity. i don't even take good care of my teeth.

You are completely wrong, or you probably work for the beef industry. Read the facts of the study and place them in your post, instead of ignoring them and making overgeneralizations.

What you failed to mention was that this study pertains specifically to heart disease, stroke and diabetes. What about colon cancer? Well, there is convincing evidence that red meat (beef, lamb, goat and pork) causes colorectal cancer.

As a further example, you might say to me that the consumption of dairy products is associated with good health. This might be true, as dairy intake is linked to a reduction in colorectal cancer risk. But then I can tell you that dairy products are associated with an increased risk of prostatic cancer, which is also true.

So don't ignore the basic facts of these studies when posting. You will only lead people astray.

I've lived with five vegetarians for years, and no, I've noticed no such thing.

you can be an unhealthy vegetarian or vegan. fruit loops, twizzlers, and mountain dew is at least a vegetarian diet, maybe vegan, I'm not sure, and it's terribly unhealthy. whole foods plant based eating is what humans thrive on. if someone is on a veg diet and unhealthy, they're doing something wrong
