Well intentioned but downright boring

This film is only about 1hr 30 mins long, but I couldn't wait for it to be over. The message it tries to get across is decent, but the way the whole story was told was just plain boring. I don't know if I personally would want to take on a vegan-style diet. I love meat too much, and I've heard that people have vitamin/mineral deficiencies with a vegan diet. So...I don't know. I'm naturally thin, so I don't need to worry about obesity or a slow metabolism.

It was boring! I eat a vegan diet, but I couldn't get through this because it was so boring. Check out Cowspiracy, just saw it last night and I was glued to the screen.

No one doing a vegan diet correctly has any deficiencies, any more then they would have on a meat diet. I had a comprehensive blood test last month, everything is fine. I've been vegan for 3 years. It's just not a real thing, just made up so people can feel good about eating meat.

Yea, what it needed was a montage. Like a newly vegan v.s a meat eater rocky 4 style.

Same thing with fruit and vegetables, boring and bland. Thing is, if you can make it through the entire documentary, you can learn a lot. First you have to arm yourself mentally and take out the mental plaques. Then you can take out the dietary plaques. Thing I love about food documentaries is some kind of conflict. For example, I like how in Fed Up, they show the actual lobbying going on and then it makes you LOATHE the corporations like Coca Cola and McDonalds. That sends a stronger message than just doctors talking about it. Another thing is when they show slaughterhouses and animals actually being held against their will and killed or paralyzed. Again, that sends the message much better.

Reminder: The O.C. resets to its first episode on POP network April 1 @ 2 p.m. EST

The whole topic is boring. Humans evolved to eat meat and plants. We are omnivores, not herbivores.
