hope you like getting cancer and contributing to the destruction of the planet and the country. not sure if you're an American but you're not a patriot wherever you live. "never" is such an immature word. it's 20 and F'N 15. just replace meat with Gardein or some other faux meat brand. technology isn't just gizmos and gadgets. "I like eating meat and will never stop." if you're older than 12 you have a lot of growing up to do

Everybody gets cancer, it's just a matter of time. In a recent studies, scientists discovered, that there is practically nothing you can do to lower the chance of getting cancer below a certain percentage and wether you eat a normal, or even slightly larger amount of meat or not is not even that significant at all.

And if you mention the destruction of the planet or country then there are many other things that you have to look at first. Just consider the insanity of storing radioactive waste for hundreds of thousands of years or the oceans full of plastic debris that causes birds and fish to die a miserable and painful death.

And as for your comment regarding patriotism, well, only idiots and fools with fascist tendencies (i.e. my country is better than yours and so am I!-thinkers) consider themselves patriots and can be goaded by such a laughable statement. I do find "patriot" to be an insult and the denotation of being a small spiteful mind.

I have to admit, I do find your inability to see through the quite transparent meaning behind the use of the word "never" quite amusing. I especially chose it to rile up the simpletons and one-track-minds who would immediately latch on to it and, forced by an amusing pavlovian reflex and an even more amusing inferiority complex, respond just like you did. Hahaha, it's almost as delicious as a nice rib-eye steak (I still will eat at least one today, though :-) ).

And considering that you talk about cancer and the environment and then mention nonsensical alternatives like Gardein and faux meat I do think that you should educate yourself a little more before you make such ridiculous claims. And while you're at it, you might also want to learn some more tolerance of other peoples eating habits, which is generally something vegetarians and vegans more often than not need to do.

Finally, I'd like to point out that juding by your post and how you try to push the basest of buttons like immaturity, which is in itself so laughable that I do not even deign to get into it, and patriotism, I do think you should at least take a few rhetoric courses, so that you can express what little you think in a somewhat more compelling and precise form.

But if a few half-baked statements and insults are already the full extent of your arguments and rhetorical prowess then my dear sir, I point and laugh at you.

And I'll enjoy a tasty steak more at todays BBQ extra for you.... hmmmmm....

(Yes, that *was* immature, but you know what? I don't care..na na na na naa naa)

everything everyone does affects others. when anyone eats meat, consumes dairy, etc... it has negative affects, and not just on the consumer.

while "never" is something an addict says, and you're obviously a weak addict, "I like" as a justification is something immature people cling to.

I like to drive drunk while texting, so too bad I killed your family. I like to sexually violate the 15 year old girl down the street who looks 18+. you need to tolerate those behaviors, even if it's your 15 year old daughter (oh I hope you haven't reproduced) I kill or sodomize. get the point? of course not.

actually science and medicine prove certain types of cancer can be reversed and prevented with plant based eating. now if someone eats a plant based diet and smokes 4 packs of cigarettes a day, of course they're (most likely) going to get lung cancer.

so you're not a patriot, obviously not a Christian (neither am I), but at least I give more to society than I take from it. eat more meat, the sooner you die the better off the planet will be.

"hope you like getting cancer and contributing to the destruction of the planet and the country"

Because people who don't eat meat don't get cancer, and eating meat is killing the planet and country. What moronic drivel. If you're older than five you have a lot of growing up to do, but I don't think you have the intellect to do so. Humans evolved to eat meat and plants. We are omnivores, not herbivores.

let me add the post "luv me some steak but hell I'll try it" is exactly what this world needs more of. if I had a hat it would be off to whoever wrote that

what is your point? do you expect us to argue with you? you are on an anonymous message board. if the thought of animals suffering to put meat on your plate is not the slightest bit off-putting to you, then there is really nothing else to say.

You pay people to violently kill animals for your pleasure. Not for any need, just strictly for your pleasure. Is this really who you are as a person?

Because you pay people to violently kill animals for your pleasure, the environment is being destroyed, and people are starving. Entirely so you and people like you can have your pleasure-fix. Is this really who you are as a person?

None of this is necessary. The cravings go away after about 6 months, then meat starts to smell gross, because it is, you're just addicted like I was 3 years ago.

I would say, from what I have watched and now know, I may continue to eat meat and then slowly wean off it. I mean I use to like eating chicken and now I have lost taste for it. Next, I hope is ham and then fish. Hopefully, by the age of 35, I can eat an all plant based and keep it until the day I pass. They say you can reverse diseases right? Might as well start doing it when the metabolism drops and you gain weight anyway. There really is nothing wrong with enjoying meat, so as long as you know the repercussions and really want to go on with that choice.

God bacon and ham are SO tasty, even seafood!
