What is the correct pronunciation of 'Roosevelt'?

In this show, "Roosevelt" is pronounced with the first syllable as in "rueful". I always thought the first syllable was pronounced as in "rose". Which is correct? Thanks.

There are at least two pronunciations, actually. Both can be heard at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHoSUBzO0f0 ... Also, see video at http://video.pbs.org/video/1049332797/[/url .

the correct pronunciation is how the family pronounced it. Just like New Orleans. it's how the locals pronounce it that is the correct way. I used to live in a town named McLean. OUt of towners would usually pronounce it Macleen but the locals said Maclane.

I read somewhere that Teddy Roosevelt pronounced the name as in rue, but FDR preferred roe. He kept roses on his desk to remind people.
